Rah Digga recently spoke up about being name-checked in songs by Tyler, the Creator and Fat Trel in which she felt she was being disrespected. MC Lyte was also name-checked and responded–check it out here.
This is what Rah Digga had to say about the whole matter:
“I didn’t make this record for press purposes or for hype cuz that’s not my thing. I got wind of various artists referencing me in a negative fashion.
They poked fun at me I’m just pokin back. It’s all sport to me. I wish em all the best, they just need to understand who is off-limits. MC Lyte is off-limits. Rah Digga is off-limits. Respect those who kept Hip-Hop raw so that we could still have a culture or get a first hand lesson in a lyrical ass whoopin. Love is love.”
Great way to respond and end the bull ish. Additionally, Rah Digga responded to the diss via her latest track, “The N**** In Me.” Check it out below.
However, it seems as though the beef between Rah Digga and Tyler, The Creator is now over. Both Rah Digga and Tyler, The Creator tweeted about squashing the beef while hanging out at the Paid Dues 2012 Festival. Head over to HipHop DX to see what they had to say. But, it’s not clear whether Rah Digga and Fat Trel kissed and made up. We will have to wait and see.
